House for rent, Lomas Altas
The house, located in an exclusive gated community in Lomas Altas, was designed half a century ago by Manuel Rocha Díaz, an enthusiastic follower of postmodern architecture, at the request of and with the participation of the renowned sculptor Ernesto Paulsen. In the original design for the house, architect Rocha designed a large envelope that forms the area we call social or public, a multifunctional space: living room, dining room, terrace, and a distributor for all the private and service areas—a node of environments—whose monumental convex roof is lined with thousands of cross-cut pieces of American oak wood placed by hand. The house was remodeled and added to in 2010 by RIMA Arquitecturta with the participation of Mauricio Miranda. A clear separation was left between the public areas—study, living room, and dining room—and the private areas—kitchen, family room, and three bedrooms plus bathroom. To achieve this successful distribution, overhangs were built overlooking the ravine with an evident structure that attests to the solidity and modernity of the additions. It is a unique house for its great location, spectacular views, special and unique design, well thought out distributions and an original cave without equal. 650 Land 520 Construction House plus 70 Cave = 590 M2 M2 Patio and garage (used as a patio) 130 M2 2 parking spaces M2 terrace 30 M2 1968 remodeled in 2010 3 bedrooms with full bathrooms, a study with full bathroom Living room, dining room TV / family area Laundry room Maid's quarters and bathroom 1/2 bathroom driver's patio Terrace
